Actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma are skin conditions linked to excessive sun exposure. Actinic keratosis, characterized by scaly patches, serves as a precursor to squamous cell carcinoma. Basal cell carcinoma, the most prevalent skin cancer, presents as pearly or flesh-colored bumps and grows slowly but can be locally invasive. Squamous cell carcinoma, the second most common skin cancer, exhibits red, scaly patches or wart-like growths and has a higher propensity for metastasis.
