- Antibodies: ANA, ENA panel, antiphospholipid antibodies
- Anti-dsDNA: Correlates with SLE activity and lupus nephritis
- Anti-sm: serositis
- Anti- rRNP: neuropsychiatric lupus
- Anti Ro/La – subacute CLE (including drug-induced subacute), neonatal lupus
- Antihistone: Drug-induced SLE
- ANA is positive in 1/3 of normal people at dilution 1:40; 5% at 1:160, and 3% at 1:320
