• Maintain fluid, and nutritional management

• TEN: admit to burn unit, necrotic tissue debridement

Detached areas: petroleum jelly + non adherent dressing

Orifices coverage: topical antibiotic ointment or 

Eye care: ophthalmology consult, daily cleansing with isotonic sterile sodium chloride solution, ophthalmic antibiotic ointment, antibiotic eyedrops

Mouth care: frequent rinsing with isotonic sterile sodium chloride solution 

Anogenital region and interdigital spaces: silver nitrate solution (0.5%) 

Possible effective medication: 

• TNF-α inhibitors 
• Cyclosporine
• Other controversial are Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)
