Lichenoid keratosis

Clinicopathologic correlation is essential, as it histologically resembles lichen planus.
This represents an inflammatory reaction to a benign lesion. One may sometimes observe actinic keratosis, seborrheic keratosis, or solar lentigo at the periphery of the inflammation.

Presence of parakeratosis, which distinguishes it from classic lichen planus
