Granuloma annulare – low magnification

Palisading granulomas, meaning granulomas with elongated cells arranged in fence-like formations.

Granulomas are composed of histiocytes and multinucleated giant cells.

Dermal localization, although smaller and more superficial compared to those seen in necrobiosis lipoidica or rheumatoid nodules.

Perivascular lymphohistiocytic infiltrate.

Presence of necrobiosis, though less abundant than that seen in necrobiosis lipoidica or rheumatoid nodules.

Presence of mucin.
