Cylindroma

LEGEND

  • Presence of a well-defined eosinophilic hyaline basement membrane at the periphery of each nest

Cylindroma

LEGEND

Nests are composed of 2 types of basaloid cells:

  • 1 – Center: large clear cells with more cytoplasm and pale nuclei

  • 2 – Periphery: small cells with scant cytoplasm arranged in a palisading pattern with hyperchromatic nuclei

Cylindroma

LEGEND

  • Hyaline droplets found within the nests of basaloid cells

Cylindroma

LEGEND

  • Nests are organized around sweat ducts, with visible ductal lumina within the nests

Cylindroma

LEGEND

  • Multiple visible glandular sweat duct lumina
